About

Our gift to the world.

We spent our lives building companies that bring vegetable growing home. Vegardi is our gift to the world.

Hi.

We are NatureTech Hydroponics and Planta Greenhouses: two companies founded by professional growers, whose one ambition, to make vegetable growing possible for everyone at home, meant we have lived and breathed home food growing since the day we started.

Between our two companies, across decades of work, we have guided hundreds of thousands of growers, supplied serious growing equipment and every practice needed to use it well, so that as many people as possible could take their sustainability and their family's health into their own hands. Growing food is not a privilege. It is a basic right. We believe that, and so do our customers.

But there was a problem.

No matter how carefully the equipment was matched to the grower and the conditions, no matter how professional the guides or how clear the videos, some people still quit. Gave up. Raised their hands. And it kept us up at night.

When we tried to understand the breaking point, the answer was usually the same: something went wrong, and before they noticed, the whole crop and all the effort were gone. Moments like that can crush a dream, and we understood them completely. When you pour your heart, your time, your money and your effort into reaching something, every failure is real pain.

And when we dug deeper and asked what, in that exact moment, would have kept them from giving up, the answer was almost always the same too:

"If someone had been there, right then, when I did not know what to do. Someone to calm me down, guide me, walk me through it. I could probably have come out of it stronger."

This was not news to us. We know those moments up close, from years of walking growers through them by phone and on WhatsApp. But there is a limit to how available, personal and patient human support can be, at every stage, at every hour. And that is exactly what most growers need.

So we took that pain, and decided to turn it into a gift.

Everything we know, professional and hard-won in the field, went into vast, classified knowledge bases built precisely for the home food grower. Not for farmers with suppliers and big budgets; for people at home who need to improvise, respond on the spot, and put real food on the family's table.

Every recurring process we mapped, refined and sharpened until each plant, each growing method, each environment had a DNA of its own: everything written down and synchronized into one guided truth, arriving at the right moment, even when different plants grow side by side.

Every professional protocol went in too. How do you tell a pest from a disease, a deficiency from a natural response, a plant problem from a technical fault in the system? And once you know, how do you treat it, with what equipment, in what order, and what do you watch out for? We have been through all of it more times than we can count, and we built methods to analyze, classify and diagnose almost anything a customer ever brought us. That methodology is now alive and working. You will not believe what a doctor we made.

And everything you actually do with your hands, germinating, planting, watering, feeding, pollinating, pruning, trellising, sanitizing, and the countless other actions every garden eventually asks for, we packed into one great index of guided tasks that appear only at the right time, for the right plant, in the right system, in the right weather.

All of that, and more, went into one app. Which is amazing on its own. But the part that still moves us is this: above all that knowledge we placed a genius who inherited everything we know, to serve each of our growers personally, in real time. Answering every question, diagnosing every problem, guiding every action, while knowing exactly who you are, what you grow, in what, where and how, so the guidance is precise, professional, and yours.

We know. It is exciting.

All through the building of this app we felt like people carrying a real gift to the world, and it made us share it: with customers, with colleagues, with researchers. We did not expect that much enthusiasm, or that much pushing to open it to everyone before the beta had even gone live. But that is what happens with an idea whose time has come. The world hurries it into the open.

So here we are, out in the open, in front of you. For you.

We want you to know that from today, you are not alone in the garden. Not guessing. Not failing quietly and walking away. From today, your garden has agronomist-grade support, fitted to the specific home grower that you are, with no compromise on professionalism, 24/7. From today you are not aiming for a great harvest and settling for a disappointing one; you are making the most of it, with the right actions at the right time.

From today, we grow together.

Thank you for reading this far. We appreciate you more than you know. Let's grow.

The beta run-in

We have been in this market for years, but the app is new. To polish it into the best possible experience for the home food grower, we are opening it to Founding Growers until the run-in period ends. That means access to every tool and all the knowledge, completely free.

It is a mutual exchange: you get Gardi at your side, the Doctor's diagnosis and advice, and the right actions arriving at the right time. We get your feedback, and it makes the app better. Help us improve.

And we will not forget the people who helped us polish our gift to the world: if you choose to stay with us afterwards, a benefit is kept for you.
